FREE Foot Massage Training Classes

The fundamental principle of foot massage lies in the premise that the meridian network connects all tissues, organs and cells in our body. Each organ in the body is connected to a specific reflex point on the foot through the intermediary of 300 nerves. A trained foot reflexologist can put pressure on different meridians or energy lines on the sole and side of the feet to determine the cause of illness.

Using pressure to these the reflex points, the foot massage is good for stimulating the activity internal organs, and to improve blood and lymph circulation. Thus, the top to bottom well-being of a person can be made through the foot. The principles of foot massage are not in congruence with western allopathic medicine. Western medicine merely sees the foot as a body part comprising of bones, ligaments and joints.

Paraffin wax goes hand in hand with holistic therapies and natural healing. It is surprising to know that many people don’t know much if anything about Paraffin wax and it’s healing treatments. Paraffin wax increases circulation, helps open pores, improves skin color, soothes and moisturizes your skin. If you suffer from any of these conditions you should give paraffin wax a try:

The wax and is then allowed to dry and slowly peeled off. You can then follow up with massage or exercise for the specific area. Always make sure area is clean, dry and you aren’t wearing any jewelry. Make sure to follow the instructions that come with your bath for optimum results. A paraffin bath can usually be purchased at most healthy/spa stores, but they can also be purchased online. If you have hypertension, diabetes, or varicose veins it is not recommended you use the paraffin treatments. If you have a question contact your health provider.

Foot Spa Therapy

The term spa is associated with water treatment which is also known as balneotherapy, spa towns or spa resorts offering such treatments. The use of spas and hot tubs goes all the way back to the Roman era. Famous bathhouses were the centres of social life and a common daily activity of the Rome’s elite. The earliest spa enthusiast Romans, Japanese and Chinese knew of the health benefits of using hot water to relax the body and its ability to promote better health.

A combination of relaxation and remedial massage designed to relax and heal your body. The treatment starts with a warm spa foot bath followed by a foot scrub. The scrub exfoliates and stimulates blood circulation in your feet, easing tension, increasing relaxation, and improving elimination.
